A major milestone has been the launch of the Skype Voice Services Program, which has brought many new developers and content providers to MAP Telecom. These developers are using Voxbuilder to design services and then launch them on the Skype network. Skype Voice Services Program As one of the three platform partners of Skype and the only Skype partner in st1:place w:st="on">Europe, Map Telecom enables application developers and content providers to create new revenue streams by offering their voice services to the global Skype community of more than 52 million users. Innovative voice services can be developed on Voxbuilder and then made available to Skype’s millions of callers in over 200 countries. Developers are able to obtain free Skype numbers from MAP Telecom. Developed services can then be submitted to MAP Telecom by sending relevant information to sales@map-telecom.com. | |

Map Telecom joins the VoiceXML Forum MAP Telecom has joined the VoiceXML Forum, which supports the development and promotion of VoiceXML as an open standard markup language for enabling speech-based applications. VoiceXML enables a large developer base to create voice-driven applications, making content previously only available by Internet or from corporate databases also accessible by telephone. | |
