Latest technologies for telephony services now available to customers in the region on an outsourced basis
Monaco – April 25, 2006. MAP Telecom, the leading international IVR hosting company and application aggregator in the EMEA region, has announced its plans to expand its successful hosting business to the Middle East, where it will open a series of strategic hosting centers starting in July 2006. Following the launch of these hosting centers, customers in the Middle East will benefit from the latest VoiceXML and CCXML technologies for telephony services. VoiceXML developers will be able to create IVR services using MAP Telecom’s online development portal, with Arabic support becoming available from May.
The newly established IVR hosting centers will allow companies in the Middle East to bring a portfolio of multimedia telephony services to their customers, including innovative VoiceSMS services, which will be initially launched in Lebanon and Saudi Arabia. A whole range of further voice services for consumers and enterprises in the region will follow. Applications sourced from MAP’s existing European partners and localized into Arabic, as well as services created by local companies, will reach the market via the MAP hosting centers.
